EVENTS

We always say “if we're home, we're open!” But we do have a few scheduled events each year...
Pews and pews full of rugs, Cranberry Fest
Our sugar house
Our shop
Garden Walk
Every year we host an Open Studio/Garden Walk. In 2023 we will be hosting it on just one Saturday. It's a great time to stop in and relax in the expansive gardens, pull up a seat on the patio, and enjoy the sights and sounds of nature all around. We also invite you to come into the studio and watch Mary demonstrate spinning and weaving (whatever you want to see, just ask!) and shop. Amble around the farmyard to pet the miniature donkeys (Donkey Hoty, Dulcinea and April), the chickens, and Squeak, the cat.
2023 Garden Walk Date:
June 24 from 10:00-3:00

Hands on maple tree tapping demonstrations will be held several times as well as maple taffy on the snow for your pleasure. Alice in Dairyland will be on hand to give a presentation along with taking part in the maple syrup judging contest as one of our celebrity judges. There will be several catagories in the contest with the winners being able to have bragging rights as the Best Maple Syrup in the Northwoods. Several producers will have their locally produced syrup for sale at the Fest. Tours will be offered in the morning and afternoon to visit some of the producers in the area. Whataview Farm will be one of the stops on the tour. Mary will be in the shop to assist visitors. There will be maps avaliable. There will be a Maple 101 class and a beginning beekeepers class.
